The ‘Ezwah’ Community Participation Platform, launched by the Riyadh Municipality, serves as a unified digital channel enabling residents to engage in volunteer initiatives, social activities, and events. This platform promotes integration among public, private, and non-profit sectors, allowing users to explore and participate in community programs through a modern digital interface.
Recognizing Volunteerism with ‘Azwah Award’
To honor outstanding community initiatives, the Riyadh Municipality introduced the ‘Azwah Award.’ This initiative recognizes individuals, organizations, and volunteer teams contributing significantly to community development, thereby promoting a culture of volunteerism and civic engagement.
Strengthening Partnerships Through ‘Madinty Offices’
In a bid to enhance community programs, the municipality signed 15 cooperation agreements with various community development organizations across Riyadh neighborhoods. Promoting Social Solidarity with ‘One-Third of the Sacrifice’ Service
During the Eid al-Adha season, the ‘One-Third of the Sacrifice’ service was launched to facilitate donations and empower charities. This initiative enables residents to donate a portion of their sacrificial meat, which is then collected, prepared, and distributed to those in need by authorized charitable associations, promoting social solidarity and organized charitable work.
